Moscow-Suzdal 200km

One beautiful morning, we move out of Moscow city in the northeast direction leading 200 km to Suzdal – one of the oldest towns in Russia. We have an accommodation at an authentic Baba Yaga place and a quick lunch. By the way, Baba Yaga is an old ugly witch, the hero of a number of Russian fairy tales. After the meals, we will head to the Kremlin, where our expert historian will tell us all about the Kremlin’s chambers and monasteries. Prepare to taste some medovukha, a traditional Russian beverage produced in the process of wild honey fermentation.
Optional activity (for the strong and healthy) – have an unforgettable experience in a Russian steam bath (banya). You will get all steamed in there and strengthen your health with a cup of herbal tea after that.

Have a dinner prepared with local products typical of the Russian cuisine at the best restaurant of the Golden Ring.

Suzdal-Pereslavl-Rostov-Yaroslavl 250 km

In the morning, we will leave Suzdal and head to nice and cozy town Pereslavl, which is known for a special peaceful atmosphere. In Pereslavl-Zalessky, we will explore monasteries, climb up the rampart, and enjoy beautiful views of the gorgeous church domes. Then, we will check out the Museum of Irons and Teakettles and drive a train by ourselves in a local railway museum!
When you get hungry, we will offer you to pick your favorite style herring served in the “Herring Royal Ambassador” Restaurant. After the meals, we will move forward to Rostov Veliky – the mainland of the giant heroes bogatyrs, who are characters of the Russian fairy tales too.
We will also take a short guided walk around the Rostov Kremlin – the most beautiful Kremlin in the Golden Ring – and will explore local monasteries, towers, and ancient walls. While staying in the city, we will taste some Russian drinks, such as kvass, sbiten, and medovukha, and have an opportunity to get some amazing souvenirs made in the Finift technique. By the end of the day, we will move to Yaroslavl and have a stay at one of the local hotels.

For lunch, we will have a traditional Russian borscht with pampushki (small buns). After the lunch, we will have a voyage on the Volga, uncovering the authentic beauty of the greatest river of central Russia.
